Privacy policy

This is a small tool run by one person. It reads the two files you export from DeGiro, works out your figures, and forgets the files. This page says exactly what is kept and who else sees it.

What we do with your export

Your transactions and account statement are read while your browser session is open and are used only to produce the figures on screen. They are not written to a database and not shared with anyone. Close the tab and the uploaded data is gone; the next visit starts from a new upload.

What we keep

If you sign in, we store against your account the instrument mapping you confirm (which ticker belongs to which ISIN), the instruments you chose to exclude, and three display preferences: currency, benchmark and view mode. That is what saves you redoing the setup on every visit. If you subscribe, we also store the customer id our payment processor gives us, so we can tell whether your subscription is active.

Nothing else about your portfolio — no positions, no trades, no balances — is stored.

Who else is involved

Clerk handles sign-in and holds your email address and name. Stripe handles payment and holds your billing details; card numbers never reach this app. Prices and exchange rates are looked up from Yahoo Finance by ticker — those requests say which instrument is being priced, never who is asking.

There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind on this site.

Your data, your call

Write to jeroemj@gmail.com and we will tell you what is held against your account, correct it, or delete it. Deleting your account removes the saved mapping, exclusions and preferences; Clerk and Stripe hold their own records, which we will ask them to delete too.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date under the title changes with it.
