Export the two CSVs DeGiro gives your account and see your real return, year by year, against the index. Time-weighted, money-weighted, per position. No DeGiro password, nothing stored.
What you'll see
- Your return, year by year — What the account is worth over time, and what it grew by — in total and per calendar year, each year standing on its own. Every chart can be read as a table instead.
- Every position — Each holding's market value, what it cost, what it's up or down, and how it moved over the past week, month or year. What you've already sold gets its own list.
- Dividends and fees — Every dividend and interest payment the account received, every charge it paid, and what's left once one is taken off the other.
- Against the index — Your deposits, on your dates, put into the S&P 500, an all-world tracker or the Nasdaq-100 instead. Did you beat it?
Three things to do
- Export Transactions.csv — In DeGiro: Portfolio › Transactions › Export.
- Export Account.csv — Portfolio › Account statement › Export, your full history.
- Drop both in — Confirm each instrument's ticker once, hit Import & Analyse, and every figure above is yours.
Straight answers
Do you need my DeGiro password?
No, and we never will. You export two files yourself and upload them. There is no connection to your broker, so there is nothing here that could place a trade.
What happens to my transactions?
They are read to work out your figures and are gone when your session ends. What we keep is the ticker mapping you confirm, so you don't redo the setup every visit.
How exact is it?
Every figure comes out of your own export — nothing is estimated. Anything we can't find a price for is listed by name on the Instruments & Pricing tab rather than quietly counted as zero.
